Founded in 2026, Buy Collective was born from a simple observation. The big corporates use their scale to secure better pricing, while smaller, independent practices buy alone and pay more.

The industry groups that represent these practices are often smaller organisations themselves, working hard with limited resources. For a practice watching every cost, even the membership fee can be hard to justify.
We saw a way to strengthen everyone at once. Collective buying gives independent practices the power to compete with the corporates on cost, delivered through their industry group, so members get a tangible reason to join and stay, and the group that represents them grows stronger.
Doing it properly is far from simple. It demands careful navigation of a complex regulatory environment, real negotiating capability, and sophisticated infrastructure to compare suppliers accurately. Our purpose-built platform takes on all of it, so industry groups can offer their members genuine buying power without carrying the burden. Partnering with AGPA to support independent GPs.
We're proud to have partnered with the Australian General Practice Association (AGPA) as our foundation industry group. Together, we're giving independent GPs access to the kind of buying power that was once reserved for the corporates, helping level a playing field that has long favoured scale over independence.
AGPA is the first of many. As we grow, we'll bring the same collective buying power to industry groups and their members across other sectors, because the need we set out to solve is far from unique to general practice.
